How To Create A Print Queue
Hi Randy,
Duplexing printer property is a feature available within the printer. I suggest you to contact Canon by following the below link:

Hope this information is helpful.
Thank you.

Thank you, Ruth for your reply, but no, it wasn't helpful. I have no difficulty creating a single printer. I can easily make that printer either duplex or not duplex. What I would like to do is create two printer queues to the same printer, one duplex and one not. I would like to be able to copy the one printer queue that I have then modify the duplexing on the second printer. The problem is how to create 2 queues to the same printer.
As I said in my initial post, I had no difficulty doing that on Windows 7. I can't figure out how to create 2 print queues to the same printer in Windows 10.

Hi,
Are you using the latest drivers direct from Canon (be sure you are)?
If this does not help then you need to contact Canon Support.
From Erwin Hofmann
"1. Go to [Control Panel] -> [Devices and Printers] and select [Add a Printer]
2. Now select [Add a local printer]
3. Select the set port of your printer in [Choose a printer port], commonly USB001 etc.
4. In [Install the printer driver] select your printers Manufacturer and Model
5. [Next]
6. In [Which version of the driver do you want to use?] select [Use the driver that is currently installed]
7. Enter a name for this new printer reference in [Type a printer name]
So, what we have now is a new printer reference, a reference you can see and select in the [Print] window printer selection [Name]. What we have to do now is to setup this printers individual settings
1. Go back to [Control Panel] - [Devices and Printers] and select your printer (clicking)
2. Select [Customize your printer]
3. In [Select a printer] select your printer the same way as you would in the [Print] menu
4. The [Print property] window pops up and you can set your individual printer settings here"

As OEM Canon is responsible for the proper operation of the printer and their
supplied drivers. Check with Canon Support, their on-line documentation, and
drivers.
Good chance you need to update or re-install the latest available driver.

I am about to give up on the Microsoft Community. All I ever see are canned answers that in no way address the question being asked -- even after the requestor clarifies the questions!
